1. What we collect

• Account info: email address, first name, date of birth.
• Profile info: photos, gender, who you are looking for, city, country, bio, interests.
• Activity: swipes, introductions, messages, reports and blocks.
• Technical: IP address and basic device info for security and abuse prevention.

2. How we use it

We use your data to run the discovery feed, deliver messages, keep the community safe, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Who sees your profile

Your first name, age, city, photos, bio, and interests are visible to other Date.ba users who fit your preferences. Your email address and date of birth are never shown to other users.

4. Storage & processing

Data is stored on managed infrastructure operated by our cloud provider. We apply row-level security so users can only access their own account data, introductions, and conversations.

5. Your rights

You can edit or delete your profile data at any time from the Profile screen. You can request full account deletion by emailing hello@dateba.app. If you are in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR including access, portability, correction, and erasure.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. After deletion, most data is removed within 30 days; some records (e.g. abuse reports) may be retained longer to protect the community.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Children

Date.ba is strictly for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please report it immediately.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced in the app.
